I was out with Christopher James doing a winter fashion photoshoot. I’m pleased with the outcome of the images and Chris was a true trooper to battle the cold while still looking natural.
Chris has been running his own business, Lords and Ladies Hair Salon, for the past two years. We’ve been working together and creating a lot of content for his social media pages, from product shots to portraits and promotional videos. It has helped a lot to build a booming brand for himself. His up and coming work will be featured in The Maritime Edit.
A minimal amount of gear was used for the shoot. I used my Canon 5D MKIV and one lens, the Canon 70-200mm L F2.8 II.

I had someone ask me to restore/repair an old photo of theirs that they had scanned. I said sure.
Used Photoshop, using primarily the stamp tool, content aware and the patch tool. When doing photos like this remember to take your time and to come back when you're done to see what you've missed.
I think it turned out pretty well.
Surprised them with a print and the loved it.
This year Uptown Saint John celebrated their 65th annual Santa Claus Parade. The Santa Claus Parade is always a fun time for the whole family and this year everyone involved did an amazing job. As always the historic uptown streets brought bright lights and a warming presence on this chilly night as all who participated spread their holiday cheer.

This fall was a busy photography season with a few family and couples photo shoots. The changing of colours and array of colours are always great for photos. A big thank you goes out to everyone who shot with me this season.
I am going to share a few images from my last photo shoot of the season with this amazing couple. He actually surprised her with the photo shoot. I hope you like the photos as much as they did.
Let me introduce Meg and Ryan.
I was looking for something sweet and had asked my sister if she had any suggestions for bakeries in the area. She pointed me in the direction of Artsy Baker (255 Industrial Parkway S, Unit #5, Aurora ON L4G3V5). By the name alone I was all for it and I was not disappointed. When I arrived to see all their custom cakes, cookies, cupcakes and Decked Out Donuts I knew right away that these are some seriously talented individuals, but also very friendly and helpful. I grabbed half a dozen of their decked out donuts and shared them with the family. Thank you.
I'm a coffee drinker, I really enjoy a good cup of coffee and that is what Sam James Coffee is about. There are a few Sam James Coffee locations around Toronto. I tried the Toronto St Shop location; 15 Toronto Street, Toronto. The shop is tucked away a bit, I almost walked past it. I love the simplicity of their shop. The custom white painted machines with the chrome exposed Is a really simple design that I found looked quite nice. How was the coffee? They made me a great lattè. When I am back in the city I will be definitely be hitting them up again.
Last weekend I had the privilege to be the official photographer for Fundy Fan Fest held in Saint John, New Brunswick. It’s a festival for people to enjoy cosplay, artists, writers and meet celebrities. For it's first year the turn out was over whelming. I personally had a good time, met a lot great people and made some good connections with other creative talent. I am looking forward to working with a few of these people in the future.
Creative Lifestyles Studio was in charge of coverage for the event, the cosplay photo booth and celebrity photo opportunities, along with printing onsite. It was great to meet a ton of happy fans and delivery them a great high quality print.
Thank you to everyone who came out and all the amazing positive feedback we are getting.
I also want to say thank you to the team who helped me out. It wouldn’t have been possible without you. It was a busy event and you all got through it. Bravo.
I had a few people reach out to me about my setup and thought I would share the info in a blog. First I started with lights; it was done with a two light set up, a large umbrella to light up my subjects and a light on the background to keep it white and to remove any shadows. My camera settings were set up to take in consideration for a group of up to 6 people,1/160 F5.6 400iso. My camera was tethered to Adobe Lightroom CC where I had my presets ready to go for editing. I only had a few seconds between photos to edit them. Presets really helped keep the photos consistent and to hit my style. Some photos might have needed a small adjustments but the work flow went quickly and smoothly. I was using a Canon Pixma Pro 10 and delivering 8x10 glossy photos to the fans. Over all everybody was very pleased with the results.
Thank You.
Jordon Hollingsworth.
As you can tell I did some rebranding of my photography and videography business. I went from Jordon H Studio to Creative Lifestyles Studio with the hopes it can reach a larger audience.
